Centerville Clinics Launches COVID-19 Testing Program | New
Centerville Clinics has launched a COVID-19 testing program in Greene, Fayette and Washington counties that will include contextual testing sites in each county in addition to the three established testing sites at clinics.
Funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Health and the Pennsylvania Association of Community Health Centers, the testing program will run for 15 months until August 2022.
The COVID-19 test is free, but the patient’s insurance company will be charged. To make an appointment, call the Yablonski Memorial Clinic at 724-632-6801. The non-invasive test takes less than five minutes and the test results are ready in under 20 minutes.
As part of the COVID-19 testing, there will be a short registration process. Although there is no charge for the person tested, each insured person must bring their insurance card and identification. The program is open to everyone in the tri-county area.
The top three pop-up sites for COVID-19 testing under this program are the NovaCare Rehabilitation offices on High Street in Waynesburg, the Mon Valley YMCA pavilion on Taylor Run Road in Monongahela, and the Uniontown Mall.
Additional pop-up sites will be selected and advertised each month throughout the 15-month program.
The three Centerville Clinics COVID-19 testing centers are located at Uniontown Family Doctors on McClellandtown Road, Washington Family Doctors on Highland Avenue, and the Joseph A. Yablonski Memorial Clinic on Old National Pike. All three are respiratory clinics with specially designed examination rooms as per CDC guidelines to ensure safety.
The goal of the program is to encourage people to take a COVID-19 test, even if they have been vaccinated.
