Credit Union Trainers Can Learn to Create Adaptive Examinations | 2021-07-15
Trainers can learn how to improve learning assessments for credit union staff using features in Articulate Storyline software by attending the CUNA webinar on July 23. Building branched reviews using Articulate Storyline.
“Articulate Storyline is a tool commonly used by credit unions to develop e-learning. One of its useful and perhaps underutilized features is its ability to grade only exam questions that the learner has viewed, which allows the learner to end up in a question branch and not not require him to answer all of the exam questions, ”said Alicia Steindorf, director of e-learning strategy for CUNA. “Plugging into exams in this way has multiple potential use cases which we will explain and demonstrate in this webinar. “
For example, trainers can open the door to adaptive exams, testing learners with fewer questions than were previously required in order to demonstrate competence in a skill. They can also be used to test soft skills in a way that better simulates real world experiences than multiple choice exams. “Having this knowledge can open up a world of opportunity for credit unions looking to improve the effectiveness of their e-learning exams,” said Jenny Saucerman, e-learning instructional design manager for CUNA.
